Niki is a teacher of Greek, Italian and Spanish. She was born, lives and works in Chania, Crete. She is fond of the sea, travelling and good food. Niki’s home is by the Libyan Sea in southern Crete and she spends her free time swimming, going for leisurely strolls on the beach, and collecting seashells, pebbles, sand and pieces of wood and glass from the seashore. It is when she gets back home refreshed and relaxed that her inspiration comes to the surface, and then Niki creates unique works of art from the materials she has found. Each of her works has its own story and symbolism.
