Irina’s family is from the island of Cephalonia, but she was born in Athens, where she now lives. She studied in Athens and abroad and spent 22 years of her life in Canada, where she worked as a secretary. Irina visited Mykonos for the first time in 1975. She stayed next to the windmills and would go swimming in Paradise, which was the only beach with facilities at that time. In her free time, she likes painting landscapes on pieces of wood, creating handmade jewellery, and knitting accessories with crochet needles. Irina faces life with a big smile, and this is reflected in her artwork.
