Alexandros and Margarita are a couple who love making discoveries and constantly learning new things by travelling the globe and exploring old and new techniques in jewellery making with materials from all over the world. Art is an indispensable part of their life, and is their oxygen, as they often say. Alexandros, a yoga instructor and freelancer, and Margarita, a theologist, musician and music teacher, live in the hustle and bustle of the city and the serenity of the Cyclades, always near the sea, either in Piraeus or on Paros or Mykonos. In the past few years, they have been fascinated by the art of knots, otherwise known as makrame. Each piece of jewellery consists of dozens to thousands of knots, thus creating a unique handmade work of art. Their inspiration is nature, its simplicity but also its geometrical complexity.
